02 输入国家密码
你的密码Enter
你的国家会直接打开。输入国家密码（最多 7 个字符），然后按 Enter。输入时屏幕上不会显示任何字符，这是正常的。

04 看懂主画面
只需观看
整局游戏你都会在这里度过。它分为四个部分：
- 地图，在左侧。
C是你的首都。反白显示的字母是你拥有的地块，其余字母表示地形：~水域，-平地，%丘陵，^山地，#高峰。 - 你的单位，在右上方。
*标出选中的单位，>标出同一地块上的其他单位。mv 是每个单位本回合还能移动多远，st 是它的指令状态。 - 光标所在的地块，在右下方：所有者、用途、植被、地形、人口。
- 状态栏，在最底部：回合数、国库（单位是金币 talon）、季节，有消息时还会显示 You have Conquer Mail。
一开始你只有首都。其他一切都要靠自己去夺取。

08 认识你的军队
空格a
按 空格 离开预算画面，然后按 a。0 号军队是驻军：250 名永不离开首都的士兵。国王和男爵们是将领。再往右（按 空格 以外的任意键翻页）是你的野战军，可以出征。看完后按 空格。

13 编成一支新军队

回答 y，组建一支新军队。如果回答否，新兵会并入该地块上已有的军队，那支军队本回合将失去移动力。反正新兵要到下回合才能出征，就让他们留守首都吧。

按 S。所有国家一开始都是 UNMET（尚未接触）。遇到某个国家后，按 Enter 可以设定你对它的态度（同盟、中立、敌对、战争……）。要给其他统治者写信，在地图上按 W。按 空格 离开。

17 新的季节
空格
在这局游戏里 tidewater 是唯一的玩家，所以回合立即结算了。再次进入游戏，看看新的季节：你新占领的地块、报纸（N）和你的邮件。这就是 Conquer 的全部节奏：阅读、下令、退出，然后等待消息。

助你撑过第一年的四条规则
兵力够多才能占领。军队至少要有 75 名士兵，并且你的人口每 350 人至少对应 1 名士兵，才能占领无主土地。派出你最大的野战军。
征兵会让军队停下。补充进某支军队的新兵会耗尽这支军队本回合的移动力。请把新兵编成一支新军队。
粮食优先。只有首都是种不出粮食的。占领植被良好的平地，把它们改成农场（在你拥有的地块上按 r）。
完成后就退出。你在游戏中时，回合无法结算。按 q，并把指令标记为完成。
零风险练习
游戏菜单中的选项 7 会打开你专属的练习世界：同样的游戏，只有你一个人。随便尝试，自己推进下一回合，想重来就重来。教练（游戏上方的 Coach 按钮）会在终端中带你走完同样的这个回合。
